Using Your Membership Account &
The Members' Website Features
• INSTRUCTIONS: Setting Up Your Member Password
• Once you have set up your Password, you can "Sign In" using the link in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
• Signing in will take you to the private Members' Website, which has some of the same information as the public website - but adds member-only pages, such as the Member Directory. Eventually, we will be adding other features, such as a members' Bulletin Board called "Village Talk" and service request forms.
• Once you sign in to the Members' Website the "Sign in" link will be replaced by a light blue and white head-and-shoulders “Profile Icon.”
When you click on the Profile Icon, a drop down list will appear with the following options:
- My Profile
- This is where you edit the information which is attached to your member profile. Your member, volunteer, event, and contact information can be edited here. If you add a photo, it will replace the Profile Icon.
- My Agenda
- Here you will find a calendar listing future events you have registered for. Eventually, if you are a volunteer, the services you will provide and/or receive will also show up here.
- Change Password
- Here you can change your account password. This process will be similar to when you first created your password.
- Sign out
- This will log you out of your account. By logging out, you will return to the Public website and the private member information will no longer be available to you - until you sign in again.
