The Pastorius Park Free Summer Concerts are a staple of the Wednesday evening summer scene in Northwest Philly. Let’s enjoy a relaxing evening together listening to music ranging from swing to folk. Here's the full line-up: https://www.chestnuthill.org/pastorius_park_summer_concerts.php

The July 9 concert features Pennsylvania-based House of Hamill, a fixture on festival stages across the US. Whether they’re ripping through a set of original jigs and reels, adding lush three-part harmonies into traditional folk ballads, or cracking up an audience with stories from the road, House of Hamill puts on a show that captivates audiences from the very first note. 

• Tobie Hoffman or David Thalheimer will arrange a spot by 6:30 PM on the upper part of the lawn closest to the restrooms
• Look for our SHTETL sign
• Arrive early to settle in
• Bring food to eat.
• Some blankets will be available, but bring what you can for seating.
• If you are not able to sit on the ground or carry a lawn chair, please email David ([email protected]) and ask him to bring one for you (or rent one for $1).
• Parking is in the neighborhood. Best to arrive early if walking is a challenge. Getting to the concert involves walking on uneven grass.
• We will help with carpooling. Please indicate if you need a ride or can provide a ride.
